pse MOD for PhpWebGallery

PhpWebGallery is a web application that enables you to create images gallery online easily. For more information, refer to its official site.

MOD pse is an adapted version for my personal taste and needs. As they are shared by others, this MOD is available for everyone.

Use this MOD at your own risks ;-)

• Unlike PhpWebGallery team, I don't guarantee any support for this MOD (I may stop developement at any time).
• This MOD is not a PhpWebGallery theme (ie : a templates directory). Some core code has been updated.
• Maybe this MOD won't follow offical version : new functionalities from PhpWebGallery might not be integrated.

Current version of pse MOD is based on PhpWebGallery 1.4.0.

Changes added to official version are the following :

• New themes
  Element layout, colors, styles, ...
• Multi-themes support
  Idea is to create new graphical themes separately from templates. Instead of duplicate a template directory to create a new skin, you just have to duplicate CSS stylesheet {TPL_NAME}/{TPL_NAME}.css and directory {TPL_NAME}/theme adding a suffix like _{NEW_THEME}.

  For example, to add 2 themes silver and warm to the main theme of template tpl1:

• Dynamic categories menu
  Javascript menu allowing to select a category inside tree without having to reload intermediate categories.
• Slideshow
  Slideshow has been replaced with a new more exciting and more flexible (with adjustable delay and size and, for IE, transition effects).
  Basic metadata (such as image size) must be synchronized so this slideshow works!
• Random representant for categories
  In official version, when a random representant is associated to a category, a picture is chosen randomly then systematically displayed to represent the category. With this MOD, picture is randomly chosen each time the category is displayed.

PhpWebGallery is released under GPL, so this MOD is under GPL !

In brief you do what you want (including modify and redistribute) but you have to release sources and keep GPL license.
